Geomorphological Variations
Progress in geomorphology within the framework of the Earth and Environmental Sciences emphasizes the significance of space and time scales in research on various landform processes and phenomena resulting in very diverse styles of relief evolution. The set of contributions in “Geomorphological variations” represent a large corpus of research interests which range from the global and/or regional to applied environmental geomorphology. Geomorphologists of the Oxford University School of Geo¬graphy in the Centre for the Environment and those of the Department of Geography and Geoecology at the Faculty of Science of the Charles University in Prague wish to record through this monograph the 15 years of their research cooperation. The book was prepared as a contribution to present-day research activities within the framework of the International Association of Geomorphologists.
